Chemical and Molecular Engineering

Department of Chemical and Molecular Engineering aims to educate students who are interested in chemistry and chemical engineering by acquiring basic science and applied technologies. Two specialized tracks, “Energy-Environment “and “Smart-Bio”, are currently offered on the basis of the top promising future industries associated with energy, advanced materials, high-quality consumer products, and smart healthcare. The 12 faculty members, along with more than 50 graduate students and researchers, carry out active research in areas that encompass fundamental sciences and cutting-edge industry, namely bionano fusion technology, nano materials and devices, medicinal chemistry and fine chemical industry.
