Industrial management engineering (industrial engineering) traditionally deals with the analysis, design, resource management and information management of operating systems. The purpose of the Major in Industrial Management Engineering is to implement integration for optimal performance of humans, machines, and resources in the operating system. Therefore, the Industrial Management Engineering degree focuses on how systems and system components can fit together.Operations Research (OR), Manufacturing Engineering, and Ergonomics provide the basic tools to perform these analyzes and integrations.The Industrial Management Engineering degree will lead the way to use the finite resources on the planet as efficiently as possible. Also, industrial management engineering must understand not only technology but also people. Therefore, the Department of Industrial Management Engineering deals with a variety of disciplines, from mathematics and cognitive psychology to communication, computer science, and production management to process control.You will find industrial management engineering degrees in a variety of high value-added professions that contribute to productivity and are competitive in the global marketplace. Many industrial management engineers work in manufacturing and industry, and companies in various fields such as banks, hospitals, governments, etc. will also be able to design efficient and productive systems. In recent years, the area has been further expanded to include the non-manufacturing service industry area including logistics, supply chain, distribution, transportation, communication, information technology, medicine, and safety, and scientific research and application of these systems Design and control methods are in demand.
