In the modern society, as digital convergence is in full swing, the demand for various cultural contents is rapidly increasing, and the profit base of contents is greatly expanding. With the rapid growth of the cultural contents field, human resources with interdisciplinary skills who can handle the entire cultural contents are needed.

Hanyang University's Department of Cultural Contents, established in 2004, is the first Department of Cultural Contents in Korea with a full line-up of undergraduate-master's-doctoral, and is the only department in Korea with educational programs based on various industry-academia cooperation. This department aims to cultivate cultural contents planning and creative business experts with global capabilities as the leading department in Korea that will lead Korean cultural contents.
